In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Peoria Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Marion decided to allegedly drive drunk in his police cruiser.

Sheriff Chris Watkins says the deputy was off-duty when he was involved in a one-vehicle crash. Marion was arrested by the Illinois State Police and is currently on administrative leave pending an internal investigation by the Peoria Sheriff’s Department.
The Peoria Sheriff’s department refused to release any information to Agitation Rising via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. ARN is appealing the decision.
Jacob Marion is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
