Lawrence Maushard is a journalist, author, and human rights activist living in Central Illinois. He lived in Portland, Oregon for 17 years until 2017 before relocating back to Peoria, Illinois where he was born and raised. He has spent his life fighting for human rights with an expertise on the ongoing conflict in Israel/Palestine. He is the vice-president & co-founder of Peoria for Palestine.
