Riley Gaines was a very talented swimmer. She was so good she tied for 5th place in the women’s 500 yard freestyle with trans woman & University of Pennsylvania student Lia Thomas. Since then, Riley Gaines has been an outspoken critic of trans women playing in women’s sports.
